Edit from the back

Posted in The Creepers on November 29, 2012 by normandixon

Before I send this thing off to be printed I find myself giving it one last look. But this time I decided to do it backwards. I write chronologically and edit that way, until now. I think after that initial first read through it’s refreshing to edit in reverse, your brain isn’t expecting it. It makes mistakes easier to find. Fellow authors know, when self editing the brain puts commas where non exist in the actual manuscript. Many Indie authors, like myself, edit our own work and/or have a close grammar nazi friend preen its feathers but stuff slips through the cracks. Tip of the day edit backwards or at random.

The Creepers is now world wide

Woke up this morning to find that I sold nearly 10 copies while I was asleep. Based on Amazon’s tracker info those sales were all over the world 7 to Denmark, 2 to Japan, 1 to Italy and 104 from the free promo to the UK. Cheers all and thanks for the support!

The final cover for the paperback version.

The Creepers is now available for purchase. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A2GIJ14
This marks the first post of many. In the coming weeks I plan on adding pages from the cutting room floor, art work, Indy publishing advice, as well as mindless chatter, and the occasional opinion.
